You, me or no one can ever achieve perfection.
What makes us divine is being whole
just the way we are.
My greatest passion is Life itself. All it's diversity, beauty, cruelty, simplicity and complexity, the human mind and the human body. The challenge and the growth it provides. There is always more to learn, see and open our hearts and souls to.
I am a work in process, a neverending traveller here on Earth. To value the process more than the destination itself, is sometimes hard, but very rewarding.
My roots are strongly in the Finnish nature and island living and I get a lot of my energy and balance from the silence and purity. I also want to guide you to get back into connection with nature and the wisdom within you. I believe our bodies will always heal themselves if we just give them the possibility.
There is no one ideal route to achieve happiness in life. We are all individuals and what works for you might not work for others and vice versa. To achieve balance you might need more silence and meditation in your daily life, but as well the solution could be to find ways to align yourselves with the adventurous side in you.
In the past I used to work in the TV and media as a producer, tv host and editor. In my earlier years, from 15 to 21, I traveled the world as a professional snowboarder in the Rossignol Team, taking part in world cup competitions. I won the Junior World Championship three times in the half pipe and combined. My snowboarding years offered great experience on high quality physical training, the body-mind connections, challenging yourself and setting and reaching goals.
I have received my training to practice Health Coaching in New York at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and I am certified by the American Association for Drugless Practitioners and SUNY Purchase College. Institute for Integrative Nutrition is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods. I am constantly doing research and keeping myself up to date in the latest inventions and studies in healthy living and wellness. I have received my Life Coaching training at Valmentamo training program and have also taken part in many self development programs and workshops, including Landmark Forum and Landmark Advanced Course.
I've received my RYT200 Yoga Teacher certification in 2012 through Reflections Yoga, NYC. I was trained in Costa Rica by Paula Tursi and Peter Kaaberbol. During the training I also complited a program and got certified in Thai Yoga Massage. In Spring 2013 I participated in Yin Yoga training and a fun and exciting SUP Yoga Teacher Training in Idaho, USA.
In 2010 I participated in the JourneyDance Teacher Training in Kripalu, a yoga and health center in Massachusetts, by Toni Bergins, who is the creator of JourneyDance. I have also been studying Ecotherapy at a Finnish Taiga Institute by psycho- and ecothereapist Riitta Wahlström and Holistic Human Understanding studies (body-mind connections and the different human systems) at Homo Simplex academy during 2006-2008.
All healing starts with a deep acceptance and love towards ourselves.
